We look forward to getting to know you, and we hope you’ll take the time to scroll down and get to know more about us. You can also learn more about Dr. Leo Perlinger on our website.

Dr. Rebecca Mycock
Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Katelyn McIntyre
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. McIntyre moved to Saskatchewan to finish her undergraduate degree and fell in love with the province and her husband. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and spent her first year in mixed animal practice before moving to the Regina area where she worked as an associate at a small animal clinic and as a veterinary locum.
In September 2024, a position at the Veterinary Medical Center provided the perfect opportunity (excuse) to move back to Saskatoon. Dr. McIntyre and her husband, Joe, packed up their 2 children, 3 dogs, 1 horse, 1 pony, 2 miniature donkeys, chickens, fish and A LOT of acreage stuff, and made the trip “home”.
They are in the process of building a house on 5 acres (next door to Dr. Leo & Pete!) and are looking forward to getting a start on what’s sure to be a never-ending list of projects.

Kelsey’s favourite aspect of Veterinary medicine is having the opportunity to help animals have healthy and happy lives with their humans. Outside of work, she can usually be found with her nose in a book, spending time with friends, or out for a walk with loved ones of both the two and four-legged variety. She lives with her partner, Kreg, and their cat (Oxford) and dog (Nova).

Alex
Registered Veterinary Technician
Alex graduated from Saskatchewan Polytechnic and has been practicing as an RVT ever since November 2020. She has stayed with small animal practice and loves meeting all the furry friends. One of her favorite parts of her job is learning how people come up with names for their little ones!
She has a full little house with 2 dogs: Otis (a scottish terrier) & Teddy (a golden doodle), as well as 2 cats: Bellie & Peanut, all whom she loves very much. When she isn’t pulling blood or placing catheters at work, you can find her at home enjoying Big Brother or reading some kind of thriller book. If you ever want to strike up a conversation feel free to bring up Harry Potter and she will be all ears.
She looks forward to meeting you at your next visit!
